What to Do After Being Scammed ?

  • Stop all communication with the scammer.
  • Do not send more money, even if they promise to return what you lost.
  • Report the scam to the authorities (see below).
  • Inform your bank if you’ve shared financial information.
  • Change passwords on affected accounts.
  • Collect evidence – keep screenshots, emails, payment records, and chat history.
